Postdoc positions in ethnopharmacology or medicinal plant chemistry are available in the laboratory of Dr. Song Qishi, Open Plant Resource Lab, Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden(XTBG), Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS).

Candidates should have a solid understanding of basic pharmacology, herb medicine and significant hands-on experience in phytochemistry. Experience with ethnopharmacology are highly desirable. Individuals with a recent Ph.D with background in phytochemistry, medicinal chemistry, traditional medicinemicrobiology or pathology are also encouraged to apply. Individuals who are familiar with animal models of human diseases will be given preference. Candidates must be able to work in team while being able to work independently.
